Functions

The Registry, in collaboration with Schools, and various academic and administrative departments, supports research and development of academic regulations and policies, and ensures consistent and fair implementation of policies and regulations relating to study programmes. It acts as an expert provider of fundamental Academy-wide academic services spanning the full study cycle from admission to graduation. It is the Academy’s executive arm in quality assurance and enhancement spanning related functions from programme approval, monitoring and review, to internal and external quality review and conduct of course evaluation surveys and student experience surveys. The Registry also provides secretariat services to academic committees including the Academic Board, the Academic Policy and Quality Assurance Committee, the Board of Postgraduate Education and the Board of Undergraduate Education.
