Renowned dancer and choreographer Pichet Klunchun focused on his lifelong pursuit of the traditional khon dance of Thailand. Pichet revealed the way he had researched and interpreted this art form, presenting it in a contemporary context and passing it to the next generation. He also discussed the use of technology in his work and his experience collaborating with young talents from the HKAPA School of Dance and the Young Friends of the Hong Kong Arts Festival.
This event was also part of the Dean’s Special Artist Series of the School of Dance at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA), moderated by Professor Anna CY Chan, Dean of the School of Dance at HKAPA.
