As we celebrate the 40th anniversary of The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 2024, I am thrilled to present a unique showcase titled “Years of Brilliance Inheriting the Artistic Legacy.” The concert will feature performances by the IONICA String Quartet and the Academy Percussion Ensemble from the School of Music. These exceptional young musicians embody the spirit of artistry, dedication, and collaboration the School represents.
This encounter transcends music; it reflects the distinctive identity of the Academy community. All the Schools are participating, blending various art forms to create a vibrant and enriching multi-disciplinary experience.
I want to express my gratitude to all the performers and the artistic and production teams whose hard work has made it possible. May this showcase inspire us all as we continue our journey of search for beauty and creative innovation.
