Old newspaper clipping
This talk pays tribute to Mr Chan Chung-on, one of Hong Kong’s earliest violin pedagogues by tracing his long career, from a violin mentee to a mentor, since post-war Hong Kong. Based on over 100 newspaper clips, the talk aims to enrich understanding of this city’s musical past and appreciation for musical pioneers that impact the present.
