For MFA programmes, selected applicants will be invited to attend an interview and/or take the Academny tests. For MMus programmes, selected applicants will be invited to attend a preliminary audition as well as a final audition, interview, and diagnostic assessment test, if further short-listed.
MFA in Dance
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an interview. At the interview, applicants should be prepared to discuss in English:
- their planned study timeline, i.e. full-time or part-time, daytime or evening, etc.;
- their focus areas; and
- their expectations of the captioned programme.
MFA in Drama
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an interview. At the Interview, applicants should be prepared to discuss in English:
- their planned study timeline, i.e. full-time or part-time, daytime or evening, etc.;
- their focus areas;
- their expectation of studying the captioned programme; and
- their background and portfolio.
MFA in Cinema Production
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an interview. At the interview, applicants should be prepared to discuss in English:
- a short film screened before the interview for interview discussion;
- their focus areas;
- their motivation for and expectation of studying the captioned programme;
- their prior education in film, related work experience and portfolio works; and
- their understanding towards the captioned programme.
MFA in Theatre and Entertainment Arts
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an interview. At the Interview, applicants should be prepared to discuss in English:
- their planned study timeline, i.e. full-time or part-time, daytime or evening, etc.;
- their focus areas;
- their expectation of studying the captioned programme; and
- their background and portfolio.
