簡介

Gus Lee is the Founder of Parameta, an emergent digital practice powering cultural content creation. It offers established expertise and thought leadership on the use of code to craft unique art, design and architectural activations and content. Parameta collaborates with top-tier international public institutions, partners with luxury retail brands and co-creates with renowned designers and artists.

 

Prior to founding Parameta, Gus was a director of Aedas, the global architecture and design practice he continues to consult for on special projects. He joined the firm in 2010 and directed multiple award-winning projects that utilized parametric software to create complex, large-scale and high-end luxury retail, residential, commercial and cultural projects.

 

Gus has spent his career creating award-winning architecture in Europe and Asia, in addition to his work with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in the Middle East and North Africa regions. He is currently developing and implementing similarly purpose-driven and impactful designs at the intersection of technology and culture.

 

His work has been shown at the International Architecture Biennale in Venice and is widely recognized with various international prizes. In the UK, his projects have won the Royal Institute of British Architects’ RIBA National Award, Civic Trust Award, Roses Design Award and Global RLI Award. Outside of the UK, his work has received the Best Tall Building Award at the CTBUH Awards and the Chicago Athenaeum International Architecture Award (United States), A’ Design Award (Italy), Cityscape Award for Architecture in Emerging Markets (United Arab Emirates), as well as the Asia-based A&D Trophy Award, MIPIM Asia Award, Asia Pacific Property Awards, Quality Building Award, HKIA Cross-strait Architectural Design Award and HKIA Annual Award.

 

Gus contributes to various non-profit initiatives including as a committee member of the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority in Hong Kong, one of the largest cultural projects in the world and a vibrant cultural quarter blending together art, education, commercial and entertainment facilities.
