Biography
Ash Ng is a Lecturer in Stage and Event Management. Ash's career can be divided into three distinct phases. After graduating from the Academy, he immediately entered the project management industry, working on the HKCEC audiovisual engineering project, where he was involved in developing the broadcasting, signal, and satellite communication systems for this international convention and exhibition center. He then transitioned to themed projects, providing environmental design, planning, and production management for museums, exhibition halls, amusement parks, and retail spaces. His projects include the Parkview Square Singapore, the Heritage Museum of Hong Kong, Fanling Environmental Resource Centre, Fisheries Hall, and Noah's Ark.
Later, Ash returned to MICE and Special Events, providing professional services for the Hong Kong SAR government, multinational corporations, and international projects in Hong Kong. His clients included Hong Kong Disneyland, Mercedes Benz, BASF, Hong Kong Gospel Festival, Hong Kong Airport Authority, ASD, DSD, etc. He provided facility management services for the World Trade Organization Ministerial Conference in Hong Kong and conference and exhibition services for international trade delegations attending the International Telecommunication Union events. He managed the evangelistic rally at Hong Kong Stadium for world-renowned evangelist Franklin Graham.
Over the past decade, Ash shifted his focus from macro business environments to human-centered services. He obtained professional qualifications in Expressive Arts Therapy and now shares the benefits of art with others. He provides creative arts-based therapy and growth counseling services to social welfare organizations, schools, companies, and individuals, collaborating with over thirty schools and institutions. Additionally, Ash continues to develop deeply with the art group Shu Ning Presentation Unit, which he co-founded with friends. In recent years, he has traveled as far as Madagascar to train university students in using performing arts to respond to social issues.
His academic credentials remain unchanged as presented in the original text, including his CAGS from the European Graduate School, Master's degree in Expressive Arts Therapy from HKU, BFA in Technical Arts from HKAPA, professional memberships in ANZACATA and EATAHK.
