Submission of Application
- Application should be submitted via Online Application System.
- Each Applicant should submit only one application.
- Please follow the Procedures listed in the link below.
Preliminary Selection
- Selection is based upon a review of school records, HKCEE / HKAL / HKDSE scores, previous experience in creative arts, portfolio review, letters of reference, and a written statement of personal goals.
- Applicants should submit a supplementary portfolio and document demonstrating creative talents and skills applicable to the selected specialisation.
Interview
- Candidates who pass the preliminary selection will be invited to attend one or more interviews or recruitment exercises. Admission will be based primarily on personal interviews, portfolio reviews and/or practical tests.
- For Degree applicants, it may be necessary to re-direct the applicants to Diploma in Theatre and Entertainment Arts Foundations if their standard falls below the entry requirements of the Degree.
- The number of places that can be offered for certain major studies is limited and may vary from year to year; the Academy cannot provide written assessments or enter into any correspondence with unsuccessful applicants.
Portfolio and Document Requirement
Audio Arts, Media Scenography Specialisations
Applicants should submit the following portfolio or document:
Samples of artwork, models, technical drawings, paperwork, renderings, photos, sound tapes, or videos of any productions or projects applicants have been involved with.

Samples of production files, prompt book, budget, schedule, running lists, slides, photographs or other supporting documents for theatre presentations, community projects or other performing arts for which applicants have acted in a Stage Management capacity.
