Norbert Kottmann’s career blends technology and artistry, evolving from a software developer with a Master’s in Computer Science to a filmmaker with a Bachelor’s degree in Film, specializing in editing. His co-directed film Digital Immigrants won the Swiss Film Award for Best Graduation Film in 2017. Now leading Postproduction for the Film program at Zurich University of the Arts, Kottmann teaches film editing and virtual production, pushing the boundaries of Film and Immersive Arts by combining traditional filmmaking with digital technologies.
