The Art Jamming Party was well-liked by members of the Young Friends of the Academy (YF) last year with overwhelming registration. This year we are holding this member-exclusive party again on 28 Jun at our world-class paint shop.
 
We have invited Brian Watkins, a veteran artist in painting and creating scenery for theatre and film industry to share his working experience in scenic art. YF members will learn about how paintings create impact to the audience and be able to let go of their creative juice on canvas, while chit-chatting with our students and alumni to learn more about performing arts and the Academy.
 
Please encourage your art-loving students to join YF and enrol to explore the world of art.

Have you heard about immersive art experience? What about VR or AR performances? These hot art tech topics are much closer to reach than you think. At the Academy, we have a long history of teaching artistic design, technology and management to facilitate stage performances and the entertainment industry, which is essentially all about art tech.
 
At the Graduation Exhibition of School of Theatre and Entertainment Arts, you will be able to see how art tech is applied to performing arts to deliver creativity and aesthetics through the showcase of creative works designed and crafted by our students. Exhibits on display include works that were created for the Academy's major productions, which were original responses to a range of artistic, technical and craft challenges.

To celebrate the 40^th Anniversary of the Academy, new members who join the Young Friends of the Academy (YF) will receive a limited-edition accessory as their welcoming gift! 
  
Whenever our YF members join our shows or activities, they will also get a unique Buddy Badge by choosing a blind box. They can collect the full set of 36 badges to show their passion for performing arts. 
  
We have more than 20 performances and performing arts workshops with free admission for YF members each year. Please encourage your students who are interested in performing arts and meeting new friends to join.
