Performing Arts GPS 2013/14

Performing Arts GPS aims:

  • ​To provide an opportunity for students and teachers to appreciate art and stimulate their creativity in the wonderful world of aesthetics through educational workshops presented in a dynamic and interactive way;
  • To enable young audiences to have a better understanding of the various aspects of the performing arts; and
  • To extend and develop participants' learning abilities/experiences and the promotion of life-long learning.

The Performing Arts GPS is composed of different performing arts activities covering areas in Dance, Music, Film & Television, Technical Arts and Cantonese Opera. The kind of activities offered will include workshop, seminar/demonstration and performance viewing. To deepen students' learning, schools and students participating in this programme are encouraged to use the experience gained at the Academy to further explore and develop into a presentation with guidance and supervision from the Academy.

The programme is suitable for higher forms of primary school students. Places are limited and it runs on a first-come-first-served basis.
