The appointee will be required to provide administrative support to the Office of the Deputy Director (Academic). Duties shall include liaison and coordination with internal and external parties; handling secretarial tasks; preparing correspondence; logistical support for meetings and events; travel arrangements; and any other duties as assigned.
Applicants should have:
(a) At least a Higher Diploma, preferably a recognised degree.
(b) A minimum of 5 years of relevant administrative experience, preferably in education setting. Previous experience in serving senior management is an advantage.
(c) Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with the ability to communicate in Putonghua.
(d) Strong communication skills, self-motivated, detail-oriented, able to prioritise multiple tasks.
(d) Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint) and Chinese word processing.
TERMS OF APPOINTMENT
Appointment will be on a two-year contract. Renewal of contract is subject to work performance and operational needs of the Academy. A gratuity payment equals up to 10% of the total basic salary earned during the contract period may be granted upon satisfactory completion of the full contract period. The amount of gratuity payable will be the sum which, when added to the Academy’s contribution to a Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) scheme as required by the MPF Schemes Ordinance, equals 10% of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period. Fringe benefits include leave, medical, and dental benefits. Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
