HKAPA Announces Academic Arrangements on the Commencement of Semester 2

In order to ensure that our students attain the learning outcomes intended for Semester 2, and are able to catch up on the residual learning from Semester 1, The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) has announced that the Semester 2 is revised to fully cover 16 weeks of learning between 2 March 2020 and 27 June 2020.​ The summer term is rescheduled to take place between 29 June 2020 and 11 July 2020. Schools may use it as a buffer for students to catch up on their study, practice, and rehearsals if and when necessary. 2 March 2020 will remain the firm date for the commencement of Semester 2. Under the scenario of the continued closure of campus due to the development of Coronavisrus, the Academy will switch to the online/blended learning mode. Face to face delivery for practice-based courses will be resumed when the situation improves.
