18 Feb (Mon)
To strengthen ties with secondary schools, the Academy has hosted a luncheon with secondary school principals on 18 February. The luncheon was a good opportunity for Schools of the Academy to forge a close bond with local secondary schools, and exchange views on further collaboration between the Academy and the secondary schools.
Professor Adrian Walter AM, Director of the HKAPA, delivered a welcome remark and introduced the development of the Academy. Mr Roy Szeto, alumnus of the Academy, Head of Directing and Artistic Director of School Production, School of Drama, was invited to share his study life here at the Academy and his career development after graduation. Ms Lilian Yuen, Head of Academic Services introduced a variety of academic programmes to the principals, while Ms Violet Lau, Head of Student Affairs, shared the highlights of graduate employment survey.
The school representatives enjoyed the meal while exchanged views on education and admission with the Deans and faculty members of the six Schools. They welcomed more outreach activities to be organised for their students in the future.
