Identify Talents for Theatre and Entertainment Arts

School of Theatre and Entertainment Arts (TEA) provides professional, innovative education for dedicated students who wish to pursue a select and intensive education in design, technology, and management for Western and Chinese performances and related technical and entertainment arts. The School’s diversified programmes develop students’ creative, analytical, technical and communications skills necessary for making original contributions to the industry. Our alumni work in many fields related to the entertainment industry, including theatre consultancy, concert sound and lighting, event production and management, graphic design, architectural lighting, fashion design, window display, project engineering and many entertainment supporting industries.

 

The undergraduate programme offers three major options. Each major consists of some specialist study areas as follows:

 

  1. Major in Media Design and Technology
    • Specialisation in Media Scenography

    • Specialisation in Audio Arts

       

  2. Major in Technical Production and Management
    • Specialisation in Stage and Event Management

    • Specialisation in Technical Direction

       

  3. Major in Theatre Design
    • Specialisation in Set and Costume Design

    • Specialisation in Costume Technology

    • Specialisation in Property Making

    • Specialisation in Scenic Art

Not only students who are interested or have experience in the study areas or career pathways mentioned above, but those who have talents in visual arts, fine arts, and music creation or who have experience in organising drama performances or have leadership skills are also welcome to apply.
