The Academy has received a donation of two sculptures, “The Musician” and “The Dancer”, from renowned artist Professor Hon Bing-wah. Professor Gillian Choa, Academy Director, expressed her gratitude to Professor Hon for his donation of his masterpieces. The two sculptures embody the “the east-meets-west” artistry and the art of music and dance, echoing the two areas of study of the Academy – Music and Dance and the internationalisation of the Academy. They also enrich the arts atmosphere of the campus of the Academy. The two sculptures are now on display to visitors and public in the lobby of the Academy Block of Wanchai Campus of the Academy.
