Musical Theatre Workshop by A Banker-turned-actor

Musical Theatre Workshop by A Banker-turned-actor

19 Dec (Thu)

19 Dec 2019 (Thu)

A workshop on Musical Theatre was held for a group of secondary students by Student Recruitment and Community Engagement Office, inviting Edwin Wan as a guest speaker. Edwin is a rising star and graduate of The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA), who recently received his Master’s Degree in Musical Theatre (Performance) from Royal Academy of Music, UK. From musical origin to the functional roles of a production, and to musical development in Hong Kong, students got profound inspiration from Edwin’s sharing and his artistic journey, where he turned from a banker to an aspiring tri-lingual actor.

To provide more information about professional Musical Theatre study to students who are interested in performing arts, the Pearson BTEC Musical Theatre Programme, offered by EXCEL (Extension and Continuing Education for Life) of HKAPA, was introduced in the workshop.
